I partnered with Aluma Media’s team to create several explainer videos for Ameren Illinois. My contributions to these videos included working within Ameren Illinois’ brand guidelines, designing graphics and storyboards, animating lower thirds, logo bumpers, and creating unique motion graphics to illustrate complex heating, cooling, and lighting information.

Air Source Heat Pumps

This project, displayed on Ameren Illinois’ website, was developed to help Ameren explain and advertise the benefits of improving the heating and cooling efficiency of your home using their air source heat pump technology.

I designed the graphics and animated logo bumpers, call-outs, and motion graphics of the heating/cooling mechanisms using Adobe After Effects and Illustrator for this video.

Meet Your Energy Advisors

This project was a series of 12 short explainer videos developed to introduce Ameren customers to their local Energy Advisors based on their respective territory.

I created and pitched storyboards for this series based on a templated script, designed the graphics in Adobe Illustrator, and animated the bumpers, lower thirds, and motion graphics in After Effects.

8 Great Reasons

This project, displayed on Ameren Illinois’ website, was an ad developed to share 8 great reasons tenants should save energy in their rental units, and how they can improve the energy efficiency of their home.

I collaborated with Aluma Media by providing storyboards to explore motion graphic elements, title cards, and call-outs.

I designed the title cards, call-outs, and graphics for this project using Adobe Illustrator. I also animated the transitions, title cards, logo bumpers, call-outs, and other motion graphics using Adobe After Effects. This required working with the Aluma Media team to provide high-resolution video files with transparency to overlay with their footage.

Intro to Workforce Development

Ameren’s Workforce Development video introduces it’s audience to Ameren’s career opportunities and raises awareness of positions in the energy efficiency industry.

Unique connected motion graphics show the network between Ameren Illinois, their workforce programs, and their commitment to supporting local businesses.

I designed and pitched storyboards exploring visuals for the animated title cards and end cards using Adobe Illustrator. Transitions, title cards, logo bumpers, lower thirds, and call-outs were animated using Adobe After Effects.
